Dear Devotees,

Jaya Prabhupada! As you probably know, I recently returned from India where I had a very encouraging meeting with the GBC. I am grateful to the GBC members for receiving me with great courtesy and kindness, and for being so willing to openly and fairly discuss serious topics of mutual concern. As you will see in the link below, at this point we must all put conflict behind us within ISKCON and work together for the good of Prabhupada’s mission.

The “shared statement” below, which I helped to draft, is a sincere and honest statement of mutual good will, and a determination to find appropriate ways to strengthen our cooperation. I urge all devotees who truly support me to strictly honor this statement and avoid criticizing ISKCON leaders, or any devotees who favor preaching strategies different from ours. Rather with genuine good will, we should treat all Prabhupada’s followers with respect and consideration.

I am deeply grateful to all of you who have understood and supported me. Now is the time to do all we can to strengthen unity and cooperation within ISKCON. Prabhupada wants this and the world needs it.

With best wishes,
Hridayananda das Goswami

To all the devotees who kindly voiced their support,

I send you my sincere thanks. I am now in the London airport, Heathrow, and will soon fly to India. In the last few days, several important leaders have publicly defended our preaching, and I am hopeful that we will reach an encouraging result. I am grateful to you for your kind support.

With best wishes,

Dear Devotees,

Jaya Prabhupada! Krishna has arranged that tomorrow evening I am flying to India to attend the GBC meeting in Ujjain, hosted by this year’s GBC chairman Bhakti Caru Swami. He and Praghosha Prabhu have made sincere efforts to facilitate this meeting.

My close associate Brahmatirtha Prabhu has kindly agreed to attend the meeting as well. I want to assure all of you that my purpose is to do all I can to united Prabhupada’s servants so that we can work peacefully together for his pleasure and the good of the world. I will meet with a smaller GBC committee to hopefully work out an agreement, and then we will all meet at the plenary GBC meeting. I am scheduled to leave India very early in the morning of Oct 18.

I know that you share my hopes for a successful meeting that will help unite Prabhupada’s servants.

With best wishes,
Hridayananda das Goswami

Dear Devotees,

Jaya Prabhupada! I am very happy here in Israel. With the help of the excellent devotees here, I am able to rest and write and expect to finish my book before leaving. I will do several programs here before I leave.

After Israel, I will fly to Venice, Italy and for six days I will again rest and write, probably in the Italian Alps. Then I will quickly travel to four Italian cities to encourage the local programs.

On June 15, I will drive from the Pisa area, where I will visit my dear Godbrother Matsyavatara Prabhu, and stop for the night near the French border. On June 16, We will drive to a devotee community in Mirepoix, south of Toulouse and stay there for 3 days.

On June 19, we will drive to Dijon, to another devotee community, and on June 23, we go to Paris for four days where we will do programs with the many devotees there.

On June 27, we will take the train to London, spend a few hours with the Krishna West devotes, and then take another train to a preaching center in the Newcastle/Durham area of England.

On June 28, Bhaktivinoda Dasa will drive us to Scotland, where I will do programs for several days.

Around July 1, we will drive to the coast of Scotland and take a ferry to Ireland, where I will stay for about one week.

Then I will fly to Lisbon for one day, and from there to Natal in Northeast Brazil, where I will rest and write for about one week and then do some programs with the devotees there.

I will then fly down to São Paulo and stay on the Nova Gokula farm until our big international Krishna West festival on July 21-24. You are all invited to come!
