Letters written by Hridayananda das Goswami.

My Dear Devotees,

Jaya Srila Prabhupada. Here I am, feeling separation from you all. My firm conviction that I must do this special service for Prabhupada is the only reason to give up, even temporarily, the association of so many wonderful souls. Of course the devotees are in our hearts, and therefore there is no real separation. Also, my desire to complete this service for the pleasure of the devotees keeps me always connected to you.

Dear Devotees,

Jaya Srila Prabhupada. As you know, I have tried to simplify my life so that I can focus on a most important service to Srila Prabhupada: writing. I have tried to balance this service with other important services, such as traveling and preaching, hosting devotees and maintaining communication with devotees through email, phone and Skype. The life of every devotee is invaluable and thus I have tried through these means to help the devotees as much as I could.

My Dear Devotees,

Jaya Srila Prabhupada. I am writing to share with you dynamic and ecstatic events in my own life. As we know Lord Krishna has personally divided human life into various divisions of varna and ashrama. We also note that a normal human naturally being passes through different stages of life.

My material body has now completed sixty-one years, and it is therefore natural and necessary that I consider how I will utilize the remaining years of my life. My goal is the goal that we all share: to serve the mission of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and Srila Prabhupada in the best possible way.

Dear Devotees,

Please accept my blessings. Jaya Srila Prabhupada.

As I mentioned on a recent video darshana with Latin America, I urgently need to simplify my life, so that I can focus on writing. I am doing this, hopefully, not for selfish reasons. Rather I sincerely believe that this service will bring the greatest spiritual benefit to the greatest number of souls, and thus will be most pleasing to Srila Prabhupada.
