Vyasa Puja Festival 2014

On Saturday, October 25, 2014, devotees from around the world gathered to celebrate His Holiness Hridayananda das Goswami’s Vyasa Puja at ISKCON New Goloka in North Carolina, USA. The event drew over 50 devotees, many of whom traveled from as far as South America and the Caribbean.

Throughout the festival weekend, Hridayananda Das Goswami gave several classes, which were recorded and can be downloaded here. In addition, photos from the event can be viewed in the slideshow posted below.

With the help of generous donations, our Vyasa Puja team was able to properly host the visiting devotees, serve first-class prasadam, and elaborately decorate the altar and temple pavilion for the festivities. Thus, we would like to recognize our festival donors, as well as the devotees who helped organize the festival. Our special thanks to:

Above all, thank you to Hridayananda Das Goswami, for nurturing our spiritual lives and blessing us with shelter, encouragement, and guidance on our quest for Krishna bhakti. Having offered his entire adult life in service to ISKCON and the Hare Krishna movement, working only for the pleasure of Srila Prabhupada, Hridayananda Das Goswami’s exemplary life is our greatest inspiration.

Last but not least, we would like to thank Ananda Lila dd, this year’s Vyasa Puja coordinator, for organizing such an inspiring and memorable festival, as well as capturing many beautiful moments throughout the weekend with her photography.

Hare Krishna!
